Balance in Real Life

Let me start by wishing you all the best for 2015. This video is giving you all the A-Z of my wishes for you for 2015.

If you are a regular reader of my blog, you’ve probably noticed that the last 2 weeks I wasn’t blogging.

This is against my “religion” and definitely goes against everything I teach. I started this Blog on February 16, 2011 and in all this time I didn’t miss even one week of a post. That’s because I believe in consistency and in making sure my audience gets what they need and want.

I hope you enjoyed and benefited from it. I certainly learned a lot from you and grew through the process.

Balance PointThis Blog is about how to create balance between your successful life and your successful business life. My concept about balance is a bit different than what is out there. It has to do with changing your view point about balance from an equilibrium point of view to a cycle point of view.

It has to do with realizing that everything has a time and place for and you have to tune in to find out what is the right time for which activity.

The last two weeks have been truly challenging for me. I was looking forward to enjoying 2 weeks of well deserved vacation with Nisandeh (my husband) and our daughter in our new house in Tenerife, when after only 48 hours there I received the grave message that my father had a stroke.

I had to leave everything and fly to Israel to support my sister in taking care of both my father and mother who has been struggling with Alzheimer for the last 3 years. Suddenly all my priorities had to change. Tasks that before seemed trivial and unimportant took the highest priority.

It’s a sad moment in life when you realize that the tables have turned, and you need to take care of your own parents. Those people who have been a beacon of strength and wisdom in your life are now in need of your support and care.

For me this has been a great lesson in living what I teach – balance in real life. Learning to give the attention to those things that are important in the NOW.

Like I said, there is a time and place for everything in life, and when I look at my my life today I know that my attention and energy needs to go inward these days. Inward towards my family, inward into actions that are more directed to care and support.

Therefore, I will probably will not be able to be as disciplined as I would want myself to be when it comes to writing this Blog. It’s a time in my life where my attention and focus is needed somewhere else.

I hope you got the value you wished for in this Blog and I hope to meet with you again when the cycle will change and my energy, focus and attention will be back on business and empowering women to step forward to take their leadership.

Wishing you all the best for a healthy, successful and joyful 2015!

Until we meet again… Have a magical day!

Love and light, Vered

    Dear Vered,

You have served so much that you now earned all these good wishes and blessings from so many women. This will help you in doing what you are doing right now, which is not a small thing.

If you remember that you once got a book The Four Faces of Women, I was the one who gave it to you and the author of this book is connected to Brahma Kumaris in Chili, also in Israel existing (www.brahmakumaris.org)

    Greetings of peace and love,

    Hi Vered

I think a lot of us know this way of being torn into a direction with our attention and care.
Big hug for you and your loved ones.

What always kept us going was that in these moments there was so much aliveness, even at the moments my parents were dying. There was so much truthness, so much love, so much what just is…. and although it was hard it filled us up with the immense realization that our parents have been the stairs we climbed on. Gratitude was what it gave me.

Take care, also for yourself, which I know sometimes is hard too.

    Dear Vered,
Thank you for the important contribution with your blog.

On top of many “issues” last year, my father became very ill, with approaching death and in great pain.

It came in a time I was not at all feeling emotionally (and thereby physically) strong. It made me realize that I need to be fit to be able to cope with such sudden events. Daily life in itself is challenging enough.

It is still very emotional and time consuming, but I feel balanced again, and that makes a big difference in coping.

Therefore it’s such an important blog you write. You allow yourself the space you need and with that you set an important example.
I wish you strength and peace in this tough time.

Thank you and from here to you a warm hug.

    With love,
    Elsje

For you it means being focused on what’s most important now, living your values and supporting your parents.
Take care and let the universe now take care of us. We know you will be back once it is time.

    Dear Vered,

Now you really hit me in the heart. Thank you for sharing your news and your vision on it.
Quote from your article: ” It has to do with changing your view point about balance from an equilibrium point of view to a cycle point of view.”

I’m not sure what it all means, but it triggers me and gives me the strength to want to find out what it means for me.

I try to make a balance in helping my parents in their difficult times (one with dementia) and working on a successful formula for my company.

In the beginning it felt impossible to do, but a good organization of your work, time & energy makes the impossible possible. This doesn’t only work in business!!

    Thank you for your inspiration.

Love for you and all your loved ones.

All the best for you and your family right now. Your father, mother, sister and yourself and all others who are special to you.
LIFE asks us to always be in the present moment. You noticed and are answering this call you got from LIFE.

All the best for you. Take care of yourself and ask the ONE who is to support you and your love ones.

Thank you for this blogpost. Nice to hear from you again when the time is right to do so.

It is as you say Vered.

Also in unexpected sad situations we learn and there is room for gratitude. My mother passed away a few months ago in an accident. I was grateful that she didn’t suffer. But there was no room to say goodbye aswell.

I wish you much strength and joyful moments with your family. The company can wait that is also the power of balance. Have a grateful 2015!

Dear Vered, I wish you all the best for you and your family. Having both parents past away, I know from my own experience there is time for business and there is time for family.

Sometimes it can be balanced quite well and sometimes one or the other side requires more. Fortunately you have enough financial resources to be able to focus on your dear ones again and I am sure they will be very happy with your love, attention and help. And yes it does change your outlook on life.
Love to all of you, Ellen

    Beloved Vered,
I feel so close, taken into your journey. Hope your father and mother can relax with the care and attention with everything happening now, internal and external. Wish you all the good and my candle for today is burning for your family.

I also recognize the way of suddenly changing all directions. My mother is almost 84 and her eyes are going real bad. She is a reader, still attends 2 book clubs and does her own administration…until now.

This week my sister and I have a meeting with her about how to deal with this and more issues.
    So I am quite connected.
    With love Anne
